Set in the Athens Riviera on the southeast coast of Greece is Blue Icarus, a harmonious, contemporary vacation home. From the gentle hillside, this gated property enjoys amazing panoramic views of the Aegean Sea, the surrounding landscape, and the outline of Makronisos island on the horizon. The villa sleeps up to 8 guests in total comfort and style, with all the top-class amenities and facilities you’d expect from a 5* hotel, but in the privacy and security of your own luxury Greek villa. 

Outdoor
Blue Icarus is designed and crafted for guests to enjoy all the outdoor pleasures of the perfect Mediterranean summer. On the lower-level terrace is the private pool, with stylish wooden decking, and luxury sun loungers, and to one side under a shade is the BBQ and dining area. On the upper level of the villa is a large portico-covered terrace with lounge sofas and comfy chairs for outdoor relaxation with marvelous sea views. Whether having a BBQ under the stars or splashing in the pool and working on your tan, everyone will be happy here.  

Indoor
Blue Icarus is built on 2 levels and is made up of the main building and an independent studio. All the interiors are bright, light, and decorated in neutral tones, with elegant pale wood furniture and modern fixtures and fittings throughout. On the pool level is a large bright open plan space, with a sofa-lounge area, a dining area, and a fully equipped kitchen and breakfast bar. This room features floor-to-ceiling doors along the whole length of the room, and upstairs are 3 luxurious bedrooms, with sea views and deluxe bathrooms. Also, off the pool terrace, is the independent studio, which can host 2 more guests, and has wheelchair-friendly design features. 

Good to know
Periyali beach is just 700 meters from Blue Icarus, and a little further afield is the small fishing marina at the beach of Mikrolimanou, with a beach bar and restaurant, and sunbeds and shades. Don’t miss the impressive ruins of the Temple of Poseidon at Sounio with a nearby beach and tavernas, for a fun day out exploring the wonders of mainland Greece.
